A fresh but brief start
Well after only god knows how long (and possibly Sam) my blog is now back up and running.
I’ve decided to go for a fresh start so no posts from my old blog have been transferred. I have also created my own WordPress theme from scratch and I decided to call it Dark-Azzurro which basically means Dark Blue. How you see it now is as far as I have gotten, it needs some work but I’m happy with it so far.
A lot has happened in my life since my site went down and I’ll try and merge all that into future posts coming soon.
For now though I will say house hunting is very stressful, more on that soon
You have no email address listed, or a way of contacting you!

And? Who said I wanted to be contacted? Haven’t decided whether I want to add an email address, if I do it will be on my about page.

Added it now, just for you…
Where’s my link back too? You did one for Sam.

Thank you Tim. I added you on now, your site was offline

It’s a little dark – It’s hard to read some stuff on the uni computers that seem to be glazed in grease (there shiny so reflect lots on this site).
I’m glad you dropped the the entrance page.
More pictures
More content.

Well the uni computers are clearly gay.I’ve looked on a few different computers and it looks fine to me. One at work is on default settings and still looks fine. Also looks great on Lauras laptop that has a reflective screen.

Thanks Alex, where do you think it needs improvement ?
I’ve been tweaking it here and there the last couple of days.

It’d be nice if the Novi Cakes image linked back the home page. Thats pretty much standard practice.
I’m not sure, maybe the colours need tweaking a little, I don’t know, I’ll give it some more thought and either post here, or discuss this weekend.

Well the idea behind it was to keep the content the main focus really, and I thought I’d succeeded in that respect.

You have to a point, I just think that perhaps the colours inside the content boxes are a little close to the main background colour, or the border isn’t obvious enough, not sure really. Might just need a slight hue change.

I’ve just been comparing your blog to mine, and I honestly am finding it harder to read yours then mine. That’s not to say I can’t read yours, because I can, I have eyes.
I’ve tried different colours and I’m not feeling it so I’ll stick with this, it’s certainly not difficult to read and some people like boring white web sites (Sam) but they’re just boring.

Oh yours isn’t difficult to read at all, I wasn’t saying that. The text is just fine. Was just wondering about the colours of the boxes. However, now I’m home, the distinction between the 2 is much clearer on this screen.
As to mine, I’m limited by wordpress.com’s themes, something I also wanted to talk to you about at the weekend.
