Well me and Laura have moved into our new house now. We’re happy with the size, it’s plenty big enough.
We’re currently in the process of decorating the living room so we have at least one room how we want it. Hopefully that will nearly be finished at the end of the week and I can plan on getting my friends down sometime soonish.
Decorating is a right pain though, when it’s your own home you’re far more critical on everything. Painting is easily the most difficult thing to get spot on but I’m getting there
Just a quick update this one, been really busy with sorting house stuff and working so struggling to find time to update.

I went to IKEA retail park in Nottingham this weekend in search of house things, was there from about 12-6PM shopping.
I found the best cheese grater I’ve ever seen and it was a mere three hundred and seventy one of my English pennies. Money well spent.

Got some glasses of the pint variety and some smaller ones for fruit juice and what not. We also went to look in CSL for a sofa or two as my mum has given us a grand towards them. We ended up buying a three seater and a two seater, have to wait ages for delivery though. I would post a photo but the one on the web site doesn’t look anything like it.
So that was my weekend, now back to work…

Well finding a house has been a pretty stressful process but we’re nearing the end now. The solicitors are are in the process of sorting out the contracts and they have to be done by the 18th March but could be finished earlier.
We’re going to be living in Mountsorrel but I’m not going to say where until it’s finalised, don’t want to jinx it
I can however show the awesome new bed me and Laura are getting from her parents…

In KING SIZE baby!

My friend Jemma fell out with me back when I went down to evesham. I was having a bad weekend, stressed to the eyeballs and completely knackered.
Anyway, I think most of my friends are cool with it (I think!) and understand that I was just having a bad weekend but for some reason Jemma doesn’t. As far as I can tell she’s unable to forgive me and after the things she has said really has a low opinion of me now.
I’ve been thinking about it and she really has no right to hold things like that against me. Everyone slips up and if a so called friend can hold that kind of a grudge you have to question whether that person is really a friend at all.
All I know is it’s a shame, I’ve always been there for her, given her advice and company when she has needed it but I don’t think I need a friend that thinks that lowly of me.
On another note I’ve realised that buying a house is a hell of a lot more difficult then I thought it would be. Every good opportunity me and Laura have had we’ve missed out on. Just bad luck I guess, just hope our luck turns around soon as I really want to get out of my parents house now.
On a positive note 10 days till Street Fighter IV, WOOP WOOP!

I didn’t get much sleep this weekend and I’m feeling a little worse for wear now.
Reason being, I went to Evesham to celebrate my friend James’s belated birthday on Saturday. We went out in the evening and had plenty of drinks, then we went back to Alex’s where everyone played drinking games till 4 in the morning, except me because I was worried about driving a couple of hours later. 4 hours of sleep and we were up again, so I made everyone breakfast and then the Wii came back on.
It was mostly good, meeting some of Alex’s friends one of them Irish (Emma) who would quite happily say potato for me
and getting to see Alex’s new place, which is surprisingly nice for a 1 bed flat.
Unfortunately it wasn’t all good though, I got quite irritated standing around in Tesco whilst all my friends discussed food arrangements. I never knew shopping could be so difficult, maybe if someone gave it some thought before we went it would have been okay.
Secondly we spent most of the weekend playing Wii games that we’ve all played almost every single time we’ve met up the last two years. I think the most fun I had was playing a demo on Alex’s 360 of Sonic Unleashed trying to beat each others stage time. Maybe that’s why I rarely play my Wii anymore.
Embarrassingly I got quite angry at everyone when they decided I couldn’t have one more go on a Rayman mini game. My friends like to invent rules where by the element of casual fun with friends is removed and it’s all about competing. After being patient and letting them all play the games they wanted to play on Saturday I couldn’t see the problem but there you go.
Oh and I drove the longest journey since I passed my driving test, so that was fun.
So that was my weekend. I’m viewing some more houses tonight, hopefully me and Laura can find something nicer then the last one we saw. Here’s hoping.

Well after only god knows how long (and possibly Sam) my blog is now back up and running.
I’ve decided to go for a fresh start so no posts from my old blog have been transferred. I have also created my own WordPress theme from scratch and I decided to call it Dark-Azzurro which basically means Dark Blue. How you see it now is as far as I have gotten, it needs some work but I’m happy with it so far.
A lot has happened in my life since my site went down and I’ll try and merge all that into future posts coming soon.
For now though I will say house hunting is very stressful, more on that soon
